Quail & Pheasant Hunting Rates

  • Season begins November 1 through March 31
  • Guided Half Day Hunt includes guide, dog & 12 birds or 4 pheasants $250 per person
  • Guided Full Day Hunt includes guide, dog, 24 birds or 8 pheasants and lunch $375 per person
  • Unguided Half Day Hunt includes 12 birds $175 per person $25 extra per person
  • Pheasant & Quail Hunts must be Pre-booked with a 50% deposit
  • Continental Pheasant Hunt available for corporate groups – contact us for more information

Useful Hunting Information:

Current law requires all hunters to be in possession of a shooting preserve license.

A 2 year license costs $12 and can be purchased at Noontootla Creek Farms upon arrival OR more info available at www.georgiawildlife.com

Anyone holding a sportsman license is exempt from this additional expense.

  • All hunters must wear BLAZE ORANGE VESTS.
  • All hunters must wear SAFETY GLASSES.
  • All walkers must wear BLAZE ORANGE VESTS or BLAZE ORANGE HATS.
  • It is recommended, but not required, that shotgun shells are to have steel shot or DNR approved non-toxic shot.
  • All dogs must be under the control of the owner at all times.
  • Leads and electronic collars may be used, but dogs that fight and disrupt the hunts are not welcome. Please do not try to shoot, and train your dog, at the same time.
  • There will be a $4,000.00 charge for any dog that is shot (regardless of injury) during the hunt.
  • The use of alcohol and drugs before or during the hunt are strictly prohibited.
  • The 12, 16, 20, 28 gauge or 410 bore are recommended. We recommend improved cylinder or modified choke with #7 or #8 shot.
  • All hunters under the age of 18 must show proof of passing a Hunters Safety Course and be directly supervised by a parent or guardian.
  • Release from Liability Wavers must be signed prior to the hunt.
  • Hunter Safety Video will be viewed prior to the hunt.

 

Sporting Clays (Open to the Public)

  • Sporting Clays 100 Targets $45 ($0.45 per Target)
  • Cart Rental $5 per Person OR $15 per Cart max
  • You provide your own gun and ammo
  • 12 and 20 gauge ammo is available for purchase
  • Ear and eye protection required
  • Gun Rental $20
  • Private Instruction $95 per hour by Reservation

Hours are Thursday through Saturday from 9am – 5pm, and Sunday 1pm – 4pm.  It takes approximately 2 hours for a round so plan to be on course no later than 3PM Thursday through Saturday and by 2PM on Sunday.

Parties of 6 or more may be scheduled through the week; call for appointment.

 

Fly Fishing

  • Half Day – 1 person $230, 2 person $350
  • Full Day – 1 person $340, 2 person $520

We are available for Fly Fishing year round on Noontootla Creek.

Useful Fishing Information:

Fishing/Trout Licenses—are required to fish in Georgia.  If you do not already possess a license, you may obtain one by going online to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Resources Division at www.georgiawildlife.com and select licenses/permits/passes link.

  • Guided Fly Fishing Only
  • Catch and Release
  • No Spinner or Bait Casting
  • Barbless Hooks and Rubber Nets
  • If bringing own gear, ensure boots and waders have been cleaned prior to entering stream to prevent spread of foreign contaminants.
  • 5 weight Rod or greater required on Noontootla Creek
  • Minimize amount of time Fish is out of Water
  • Rates include rental of all gear/equipment necessary.

We can outfit you from Waders to Rods…it is a good idea to pack along Bug Spray, Sun Screen, Broad Rim Hats, Polarized Sunglasses, Water Proof Bag for Cell Phone/Valuables and Water.
