About Us

Quality Trout Water and Excellent Quail Hunts

This best describes Noontootla Creek Farms, a private farm located in North Georgia not far from either Ellijay or Blue Ridge. At NCF you can expect the fly fishing to include trophy and stream-bred trout. Both Rainbows and Browns reproduce in Noontootla Creek in our sections of private water.

Quail hunts take place in our fields adjacent to the trout stream and are carefully scheduled so as not to conflict with those who want to fly fish at NCF. The general season for quail hunting at NCF is November through the end of March.

Our classic North Georgia trout water is on beautiful Noontootla Creek that runs directly through our property in the valley below the more mountainous public wilderness sections. It’s a small stream nestled among over 1000 private acres owned by Noontootla Creek Farms. A few more miles below our property, Noontootla Creek flows into the Toccoa River.

Noontootla Creek Farms has been private property for over 60 years and continuously owned by the same family. The property is located about one to 1-1/2 hours from Atlanta.

What’s Nearby?

Blue Ridge is home to the most well stocked antique shops in the North Georgia mountains. Scores of other activities include the Aska adventure area which is an outdoor recreation haven located only eight miles from Noontootla Creek Farms.

Where to Eat?

The Toccoa River Restaurant is about eight miles away from the farmhouse on Aska Road and located on the banks of the Toccoa River. You can expect good food, a full menu, and indoor/outdoor dining. During the Winter months, they run a limited opening schedule. There are also various other eating establishments in both Blue Ridge and Ellijay. Otherwise, prepared anglers and quail hunters can “cook their own meals” if staying at the farmhouse. Most anglers prefer to pack a lunch to maximize their quality time spent on the water.
